Amanda started her legal education by obtaining a legal secretary certificate in January of 1999 from Harford Community College. She moved forward by obtaining an Associates degree in Paralegal Studies in December 2000 also from Harford Community College. Amanda finally reached her educational goals, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May 2002 from Villa Julie College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Paralegal Studies.

Amanda joined Turnbull, Mix & Farmer in February of 2001 as a paralegal. When the firm of Turnbull, Mix & Farmer dissolved in 2004, Amanda joined the Law Offices of Douglas T. Sachse where she now wears many hats. The main one, of course, is a paralegal. She is also the office manager and book keeper for the office.

Amanda is 27 years old and was married in May of 2003. Her husband, Anthony Marcello is the executive chef at McCormick & Schmicks Seafood Restaurant in the Inner Harbor. They were blessed with a beautiful baby girl in September of 2005.
